Students returning to McNeese State University for the fall 2008 semester may or may not have noticed a tuition increase. The tuition hike is the result of new Louisiana legislation passed during the summer. HB734, sponsored by Rep. Don Trahan, R-Lafayette, provides authorization for management boards to increase tuition by a maximum of 5 percent over a four-year period
Tuition and mandatory fees will rise by 3, 4 or 5 percent.…

The new quad, when first announced, was a great idea. Quadrangles on college campuses across the country have long been centers of activity.
