Student Government Association Secretary Brittany Blanchard paints a banner to advertise an SGA homecoming week event. 2004 homecoming festivities begin this Thursday with the start of a Student Union Board-sponsored Photo Scavenger Hunt. Homecoming week will kick off Sunday night with a SUB-sponsored bowling half-nighter at Petro Bowl from 9 p.m. - midnight. SGA- and SUB- sponsored activities will continue throughout the week, including SGA's Amnesty Day on Monday, Oct. 25, during which students can bring an unpaid parking ticket to the Gallery Room in the New Ranch and have them forgiven. Monday night, SUB will host a Halloween costume party in the Parra Ballroom. Students get in free with a costume or with two canned goods. It is Oozeball as usual on Wednesday, parade and pep rally on Thursday, big prizes at the Greek Step Show Friday at 7 p.m., and the Cowboys face off against Texas State in their homecoming bout on Saturday. Among other events.
