Where is your heart?

The heart is an incredible muscle that never rests and continually brings us life. Physically it is protected by the rib cage and sternum. We are hesitant to reveal our heart; we protect it from the sight of others, lest it be broken.
In Luke 12:34 Jesus tells us "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." So where is your heart?
College is a great time in life to pursue not only an education, but to try to figure out who we are and what we will become. God has uniquely made you, and He desires for you to find fulfillment in life. He wants your heart to soar as you pursue His plan.
Don't be deterred by the things that the world says will fulfill. I John 2:15-17 tells us, "Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world the love of the Father is not in him. For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-comes not from the Father, but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever."
What kind of things will you pursue? Take time to evaluate the things about which you are passionate; things which you will pursue with all your heart. I pray that you will pursue God's heart and the things that will last. The rewards are out of this world.
